Acupuncture is a Traditional Chinese medical technique that stimulates acupuncture pressure points throughout the body along meridian lines to promote healing, reduce pain and inflammation using a very thin needle. The needle is used to penetrate, anywhere from an eighth of an inch to three inches under the skin, depending on the muscle and the specific treatment. Acupuncture treatment is not meant to be uncomfortable, and there should be no pain from the needle and only little to no discomfort. Many say there might be an initial prick or jolt when the needle is first inserted, but as soon as it is in you should only feel pressure, dull ache or nothing at all.
Sometimes after acupuncture, some treatment points can bruise, this is nothing to worry about and is normal.

Auricular Acupuncture “Ear Acupuncture”
The ear is considered a microsystem of the body and it is very effective in treating the body because it has a nervous system that goes directly into the brain.
Needles are inserted into different points in the ear depending on the condition being treated this is a great option for upkeep as a standalone treatment or in conjunction with any of the other treatments.
You’ll lay on the table fully dressed, and your ear will be swabbed with alcohol. Then pressed on with a tool to select sensitive areas and then the needles or ear seeds will be inserted. This is a 30-minute treatment.
